Begin your Tanzania safari adventure as soon as you land at Kilimanjaro Airport. Your safari guide/driver will greet you and provide a comfortable transfer to your preferred accommodation in Arusha city, where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay. This is also the perfect time for a briefing and introduction to your upcoming safari, ensuring that you’re fully prepared for the adventure ahead.

DAY 2

Arusha to Serengeti (Ndutu).

Distance: 348km

Non–game viewing time: 5 – 6 hrs

Start your day with a satisfying breakfast at your Arusha hotel before embarking on a journey to the stunning Lake Ndutu area, located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem. Despite being an alkaline lake, it is still a reliable source of drinking water for a wide range of local wildlife. Upon arrival in the early afternoon, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch before heading out for an exciting afternoon game drive in the Ndutu area. From December to April, the short grass plains are typically teeming with wildebeest during the great migration, making for an unforgettable wildlife spectacle. DAY 3

Full-Day Serengeti (Ndutu) Game Drive

Fuel up with a hearty breakfast before embarking on an exciting full-day game drive in the Ndutu area. You’ll have the opportunity to explore a variety of habitats, from swamps and woodland to soda lakes and the renowned Serengeti short-grass plains. Keep an eye out for great herds of wildebeest and zebra, especially during February when the majority of wildebeest calves are born. With the grass providing little cover, predators often lurk nearby, making for an adrenaline-packed wildlife-viewing experience. Distance: 80km

Descend into the heart of wild Africa, where the vast Serengeti National Park stretches out before you, offering endless plains that roll into the distance as far as the eye can see. Your destination is the Seronera area, widely considered one of the most biodiverse habitats in the park. It’s home to the Seronera River, which serves as a critical water source for the area and attracts an abundance of wildlife, representative of most of the Serengeti species. Take the opportunity to experience a Hot Air Balloon ride over the Serengeti Plains (available at an additional cost and must be arranged in advance). Enjoy a serene flight over the stunning scenery of Africa, spotting wildlife and villages as you glide silently through the air. After breakfast, spend the day exploring the Serengeti National Park on a full-day game drive. Witness the wildebeest migration passing through the Seronera area in late November to middle November, and again in April when they move to the Western Corridor of the Serengeti National Park. Begin your day with a delicious breakfast before descending 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari tour. The Ngorongoro National Park boasts diverse wildlife, including wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and African elephants.
